It is a collection of enhancements to the Python distutils that allow you to more easily build and distribute Python distributions, especially ones that have dependencies on other packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open <code>setup.py<\/code> and enter the following content.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><script src=\"https:\/\/gist.github.com\/rajanmandanka-btc\/0e481188b07004d855c54e3fbd288f10.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Next Step is to Generate Distribution Packages for the Package<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Install latest versions of setuptools and wheel installed<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><code>&nbsp;&nbsp;python3 -m pip install<\/code> &#8211;user &#8211;upgrade setuptools wheel twine<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\"><li><strong>Run below command from the same directory where setup.py is located<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><code>&nbsp;&nbsp;python3 setup.py sdist bdist_wheel<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This command should output a lot of text and once completed should generate two files in the dist directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\"><li><strong>Uploading the distribution<\/strong><ul><li>Create\/Register an Account<ul><li>Test Environment: <br>Register an account on <a href=\"https:\/\/test.pypi.org\/account\/register\/\">https:\/\/test.pypi.org\/account\/register\/<\/a> and complete the steps on that page.
