- Create an affiliate user by visiting the link
Configurations > Affiliates > Add New Affiliate:<\/code><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n- Path<\/strong>: A custom path for affiliate users which is shareable to any user to earn benefits as per the commission rules defined. <\/li>
- Commission Rules:<\/strong>
- Here, we created the commission rules above for User Registration and Order Placement.<\/li>
- The affiliate user will get benefits on every user registration and order placement by using the affiliate link as per the rules defined.<\/li>
- The user registration rule should have some amount.<\/li>
- The order placement rule should have value in percentage (%). <\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Partial should be available at app\/views\/spree\/affiliates<\/code> path for customizations. <\/p>\n\n\n\nAffiliate users share their affiliate link available in the MyAccount<\/code> via any media source.<\/p>\n\n\n\nOther users can visit the affiliate\u2019s link, and can purchase products or goods as per their requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commission Transactions can be viewed in MyAccount<\/span> section for the order placed. <\/p>\n\n\n\nNote:<\/strong> If the user places an order without hitting the affiliate link then the affiliate user will not get the respective commissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\nBut after hitting the affiliate link, successful user registration, placing an order with a standard checkout process will provide the commission amount for User Registration and Order Placement to the respective affiliate user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How will the Commission be Paid to Affiliate Users?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The commission paid to the affiliate will be paid by admin when the commission cycle will complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commission Cycle:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n- Commission Created for affiliate user has a start date and end date.<\/li>
- Example:\n
\n- Let\u2019s suppose a new user is registered using the affiliate\u2019s link on Dec 19, 2019 ( 19-12-2019 )<\/li>\n
- Commission for that respective affiliate user will be created for user registration.<\/li>\n
- Start date<\/strong> for the commission will be the current month\u2019s start date for when the commission is created.<\/li>\n
- For e.g.: Commission for user registration will be created on 19-12-2019, hence start date = 1-12-2019.<\/li>\n
- End date<\/strong> for the commission will be the current month\u2019s end date for when the commission is created.<\/li>\n
- End date = 31-12-2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>
- The commission cycle completes at the end of the current month.<\/li>
- Hence, after the current month’s completion, admin is able to pay the commissions to the affiliate users.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Referrals Flow:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n- Admin can gain benefits by sharing the referral codes to his friends, family, colleagues, etc.<\/li>
- Any user can share their referral codes with other end users.<\/li>
- Users visiting the referral links get the benefit in the form of store credits configured globally in the admin panel as well as it can be user-specific.<\/li>
- Some configurations are required to be done from the admin panel to avail referrals credits.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

- Visit the referrals section from
Configurations > Referrals<\/code>:\n\nStore Credits to be awarded<\/code> are the credits the user would be getting on any referral.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n- Fill this input with the value with the credits you want to award with.<\/li>\n

- Referrals<\/strong>: Users get store credits in their account by sharing the unique codes generated to their friends and get benefits.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Affiliation Flow:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n- Admin end ( Backend )<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
- Login as admin<\/li>
- Create an affiliate user by visiting the link
Configurations > Affiliates > Add New Affiliate:<\/code><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n- Path<\/strong>: A custom path for affiliate users which is shareable to any user to earn benefits as per the commission rules defined. <\/li>
- Commission Rules:<\/strong>
- Here, we created the commission rules above for User Registration and Order Placement.<\/li>
- The affiliate user will get benefits on every user registration and order placement by using the affiliate link as per the rules defined.<\/li>
- The user registration rule should have some amount.<\/li>
- The order placement rule should have value in percentage (%). <\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Note:<\/strong> The rules defined are applied to every affiliate user and can be customized as per the affiliate\u2019s requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n- After successful creation, the affiliate user will be notified using an email with the activation link to activate the affiliate account.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Hit the link provided in the email, and you will be redirected to the edit password page for affiliate users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nFill in the form with the password and confirmation password, and you will be logged in as an affiliate user in the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThe affiliate link is shared with other users to gain benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If there is a partial while creating an affiliate, then it will redirect to the home page embedded with the specified partial. Otherwise, it will be redirected to the home page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Partial should be available at app\/views\/spree\/affiliates<\/code> path for customizations. <\/p>\n\n\n\nAffiliate users share their affiliate link available in the MyAccount<\/code> via any media source.<\/p>\n\n\n\nOther users can visit the affiliate\u2019s link, and can purchase products or goods as per their requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- User side<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Hit the affiliate link received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nRegister the user to the application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nAffiliate User for the newly registered user will get a commission on user registration as defined for that respective affiliate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To check out the commission received, go to MyAccount panel of the affiliate user. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nAfter successful registration, if the newly registered user places an order with the standard checkout process, the respective affiliate user will earn commission as per the commission rule defined for order placement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commission Transactions can be viewed in MyAccount<\/span> section for the order placed. <\/p>\n\n\n\nNote:<\/strong> If the user places an order without hitting the affiliate link then the affiliate user will not get the respective commissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\nBut after hitting the affiliate link, successful user registration, placing an order with a standard checkout process will provide the commission amount for User Registration and Order Placement to the respective affiliate user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nAdmin can view the affiliates list, their transactions, and commissions received for what type, i.e. User registration\/Order Placement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How will the Commission be Paid to Affiliate Users?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The commission paid to the affiliate will be paid by admin when the commission cycle will complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commission Cycle:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n- Commission Created for affiliate user has a start date and end date.<\/li>
- Example:\n
\n- Let\u2019s suppose a new user is registered using the affiliate\u2019s link on Dec 19, 2019 ( 19-12-2019 )<\/li>\n
- Commission for that respective affiliate user will be created for user registration.<\/li>\n
- Start date<\/strong> for the commission will be the current month\u2019s start date for when the commission is created.<\/li>\n
- For e.g.: Commission for user registration will be created on 19-12-2019, hence start date = 1-12-2019.<\/li>\n
- End date<\/strong> for the commission will be the current month\u2019s end date for when the commission is created.<\/li>\n
- End date = 31-12-2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>
- The commission cycle completes at the end of the current month.<\/li>
- Hence, after the current month’s completion, admin is able to pay the commissions to the affiliate users.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Referrals Flow:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n- Admin can gain benefits by sharing the referral codes to his friends, family, colleagues, etc.<\/li>
- Any user can share their referral codes with other end users.<\/li>
- Users visiting the referral links get the benefit in the form of store credits configured globally in the admin panel as well as it can be user-specific.<\/li>
- Some configurations are required to be done from the admin panel to avail referrals credits.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Global Settings:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n- Login as admin<\/li>
- Visit the referrals section from
Configurations > Referrals<\/code>:\n\nStore Credits to be awarded<\/code> are the credits the user would be getting on any referral.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n- Fill this input with the value with the credits you want to award with.<\/li>\n

Here, in the below image, these configurations are global settings to award the user credits as store credits on referrals and provide benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nImplementation: Basically, there are 2 flows:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n- Affiliation<\/strong>: It works as a third party and gets a commission on user registration and order placement.<\/li>
- Referrals<\/strong>: Users get store credits in their account by sharing the unique codes generated to their friends and get benefits.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Affiliation Flow:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n- Admin end ( Backend )<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
- Login as admin<\/li>
- Create an affiliate user by visiting the link
Configurations > Affiliates > Add New Affiliate:<\/code><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n- Path<\/strong>: A custom path for affiliate users which is shareable to any user to earn benefits as per the commission rules defined. <\/li>
- Commission Rules:<\/strong>
- Here, we created the commission rules above for User Registration and Order Placement.<\/li>
- The affiliate user will get benefits on every user registration and order placement by using the affiliate link as per the rules defined.<\/li>
- The user registration rule should have some amount.<\/li>
- The order placement rule should have value in percentage (%). <\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Note:<\/strong> The rules defined are applied to every affiliate user and can be customized as per the affiliate\u2019s requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n- After successful creation, the affiliate user will be notified using an email with the activation link to activate the affiliate account.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Hit the link provided in the email, and you will be redirected to the edit password page for affiliate users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nFill in the form with the password and confirmation password, and you will be logged in as an affiliate user in the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThe affiliate link is shared with other users to gain benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If there is a partial while creating an affiliate, then it will redirect to the home page embedded with the specified partial. Otherwise, it will be redirected to the home page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Partial should be available at app\/views\/spree\/affiliates<\/code> path for customizations. <\/p>\n\n\n\nAffiliate users share their affiliate link available in the MyAccount<\/code> via any media source.<\/p>\n\n\n\nOther users can visit the affiliate\u2019s link, and can purchase products or goods as per their requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hit the affiliate link received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nRegister the user to the application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nAffiliate User for the newly registered user will get a commission on user registration as defined for that respective affiliate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To check out the commission received, go to MyAccount panel of the affiliate user. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nAfter successful registration, if the newly registered user places an order with the standard checkout process, the respective affiliate user will earn commission as per the commission rule defined for order placement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commission Transactions can be viewed in MyAccount<\/span> section for the order placed. <\/p>\n\n\n\nNote:<\/strong> If the user places an order without hitting the affiliate link then the affiliate user will not get the respective commissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\nBut after hitting the affiliate link, successful user registration, placing an order with a standard checkout process will provide the commission amount for User Registration and Order Placement to the respective affiliate user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nAdmin can view the affiliates list, their transactions, and commissions received for what type, i.e. User registration\/Order Placement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How will the Commission be Paid to Affiliate Users?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The commission paid to the affiliate will be paid by admin when the commission cycle will complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commission Cycle:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n- Commission Created for affiliate user has a start date and end date.<\/li>
- Example:\n
\n- Let\u2019s suppose a new user is registered using the affiliate\u2019s link on Dec 19, 2019 ( 19-12-2019 )<\/li>\n
- Commission for that respective affiliate user will be created for user registration.<\/li>\n
- Start date<\/strong> for the commission will be the current month\u2019s start date for when the commission is created.<\/li>\n
- For e.g.: Commission for user registration will be created on 19-12-2019, hence start date = 1-12-2019.<\/li>\n
- End date<\/strong> for the commission will be the current month\u2019s end date for when the commission is created.<\/li>\n
- End date = 31-12-2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>
- The commission cycle completes at the end of the current month.<\/li>
- Hence, after the current month’s completion, admin is able to pay the commissions to the affiliate users.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Referrals Flow:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n- Admin can gain benefits by sharing the referral codes to his friends, family, colleagues, etc.<\/li>
- Any user can share their referral codes with other end users.<\/li>
- Users visiting the referral links get the benefit in the form of store credits configured globally in the admin panel as well as it can be user-specific.<\/li>
- Some configurations are required to be done from the admin panel to avail referrals credits.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
